The release of InDesign CC is now available! See the New features summary. Users often complain about eye strain after using InDesign for a long time, mostly due to small UI elements in InDesign. With this release, the following areas have been enhanced:. Users often work on documents that are on network locations. Earlier, when network connectivity was lost, InDesign used to perform a protective shutdown to protect the document from corruption.
Users could no longer continue working on the document. However, with network locations becoming more common, more users are running into this issue. Various options have been categorized and arranged in tabs. When you search for an image on Adobe Stock via CC Libraries panel and place it in your document, you now have a shopping cart icon that enables you to initiate the purchase process right from the asset. Additionally, the Links panel also displays a shopping cart icon next to un-licensed Adobe stock images placed in your layout.
Clicking the cart icon also initiates the purchasing process. While searching for an asset on Adobe Stock, in addition to downloading the asset to your Desktop or CC Library, you can directly place the asset in your document. When you launch InDesign or when you close all InDesign documents, a new Start workspace is displayed. You have convenient access to your recently used files, CC Libraries, and Presets with the Start workspace. Note : The above Recent Files workspace functionality is switched off by default.

This category is now renamed to Character Styles. Now add paragraph and character styles from your documents to the new CC Libraries Paragraph and Character Styles category, respectively.
